John is a new trucking business owner who recently obtained his Motor Carrier (MC) authority. He’s enthusiastic about the opportunities ahead, but he faces a significant challenge: his insurance bills are mounting quickly. Since his MC is brand-new, many shippers and brokers are hesitant to work with him, leaving him with few—if any—loads to haul.
Despite his best efforts, John’s attempts to connect with brokers through load boards and email have resulted in repeated denials. This has put a tremendous strain on him, as he’s paying for insurance without being able to generate any income. The stress from these mounting expenses is beginning to weigh heavily on him.
The trucking industry can be tough on newcomers, and John’s experience is a common example of how difficult it can be to get started. With the added challenge of being denied by brokers, John finds himself stuck, unsure of how to move forward. This is a situation many new MC owners face, and it highlights the challenges of breaking into a competitive market.

How It Works
Step 01 - Connect with Experienced Carriers
We help new MC owners connect with established trucking companies that have a proven record of on-time deliveries, safety, and strong relationships with brokers and shippers. This partnership allows new MC owners to skip the long process of building credibility, get on the road faster, and grow their business with fewer obstacles.
Step 02 - Leasing Your Truck Under Established MC
By leasing your truck under a trusted, established MC, you can immediately benefit from their reputation, connections, and safety record. This setup allows you to haul loads right away without facing the typical challenges that new carriers encounter. You’ll simply list the MC owner as a certificate holder on your insurance, which grants you access to their authority and coverage, saving you time and hassle. [Only when carriers require it. Not all carriers are required to list their name on your Insurance Certificate. It entirely depends on the carrier owner’s preference.]
Step 03 - Back-Office and Dispatch Support
Quick Trucker provides full back-office and dispatch support. We handle rate negotiations, all necessary paperwork, and dispatch your truck under the established MC’s authority, so you can focus on driving. We’ll take care of the details, ensuring a smooth operation from day one.
Step 04 - Consistent Loads and Fast Payment
With the support of an experienced MC, you’ll secure steady work and receive payment quickly. The older MC receives payment from the broker or shipper, then pays you usually within 24 to 48 hours.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

◼️What types of trucks do you accept?
We accept Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, Step Deck, Conestoga, Box Truck, Hotshot, and Sprinter.
◼️Can I run your truck under your MC?
No, we do not provide an MC number for you to operate under. We are strictly a dispatching service, not a trucking company. Our role is to connect you with experienced MC authorities that can legally allow you to operate under their authority. Be cautious of companies that claim to be dispatchers but also hold an MC number, as this can lead to double brokering issues. Always verify whether a dispatching service has an MC or DOT number before committing to avoid potential legal and financial risks.
◼️Is leasing my truck under someone else’s MC legal?
Yes, leasing your truck under an established MC authority is 100% legal and fully approved by the FMCSA. You can verify this on the FMCSA website, where all regulations and details are clearly explained. This method allows new truck owners to start hauling loads without facing the challenges of building credibility from scratch.
◼️What's the fee of Leased On Authority Mc?
The fee for Leased-On authority typically ranges from 12% to 20%. The charges vary based on the quality and age of the MC. Higher-quality MCs with greater age tend to have higher fees, while lower-quality, newer MCs are charged less. Brokers quickly accept the best-quality MCs and offer them better rates. Within this percentage, everything will be covered, including your factoring and dispatching services.
◼️Can I operate my truck under my own MC while also using another MC?
Yes, you have the flexibility to operate under both your own MC and another MC simultaneously. For example, you can lease your truck under an established MC to ensure steady freight while also searching for loads under your own MC authority. When you start securing consistent loads with your own MC, you can transition fully to operating independently. This hybrid approach allows truck owners to balance financial stability while gradually establishing their own reputation in the industry.
◼️Can I choose your preferred carrier?
Yes, you have the freedom to select your preferred carrier from our network of over 15+ well-established MC authorities. These carriers have been operating successfully for two to seven years, ensuring reliability and industry credibility. We help you choose an MC authority that best aligns with your business needs, freight preferences, and long-term goals.
◼️Is there any legal document regarding these agreements?
Yes, there is a legal document called a lease agreement, which is fully approved by the FMCSA. When you lease your truck under an established MC, there will be a lease agreement between you and the MC company. This agreement will clearly outline all conditions and criteria. If you ever face a DOT inspection, you can show the lease agreement as proof of your legal operation under their MC number.
◼️How do I find loads?
You don’t need to worry about finding loads. That’s our responsibility! We’ll take care of finding steady loads for your truck so you can focus entirely on driving. You won’t have to deal with the stress of negotiating with brokers, handling paperwork, or searching for opportunities. We manage all of this for you, making the process seamless and efficient.

◼️Do u have amazon loads?
Yes, some of our MCs have contracts with Amazon, allowing you to access Amazon loads. These loads are especially beneficial for drivers who prefer to operate locally. Additionally, working with Amazon can provide consistent freight opportunities and competitive rates.
◼️Will I receive the original rate confirmation?
Yes, As the truck operator, you have the right to see the rate confirmation. When we receive the rate confirmation from the broker, we will send it to you right away. You can then review the details to ensure everything is correct, ensuring full transparency in the process.
◼️Do I need to pay extra for insurance?
No, there’s no need to pay extra for insurance, as long as you already have insurance in place. You simply need to add the MC owner’s name to your policy as an additional insured party. You can easily do this by contacting your insurance agent and making the update.
◼️How will insurance be managed?
Your insurance will be managed under your own company, so you continue to pay your insurance as usual. The only adjustment is that you’ll need to add the MC owner’s name as an additional insured party on your policy. This is because the MC owner allows you to operate under their authority, and they must be listed on your insurance as an insured party. Contact your insurance agent to make this simple change, and you’re all set. [Only when carriers require it. Not all carriers are required to list their name on your Insurance Certificate. It entirely depends on the carrier owner’s preference.]
◼️Will I face any problems during DOT inspection?
No, our drivers have not faced any issues when leasing their trucks under another authority. We’ve had over 150 DOT inspections, and in each case, we were able to present the lease agreement, which was all that was needed. As long as you have the proper lease agreement in hand, you should have no issues during an inspection.
◼️How I will be paid?
You will receive payment from the MC owner as long as you're operating your truck under their MC authority. The broker will pay the MC owner, who will then pay you within 24 to 48 hours. The payment terms will also be clearly mentioned in the lease agreement to ensure transparency.
◼️Is there a long-term contract?
No, there is no long-term contract required. You have the flexibility to sign up today and start tomorrow, or you can choose to leave whenever it suits you. You simply need to add the MC owner’s name to your insurance certificate as the MC holder, and when you're ready to exit, just notify your insurance agent to remove their name from your insurance policy.
◼️Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel at any time. As mentioned, there is no long-term commitment. If you feel that this particular carrier isn’t the right fit for you, you have the option to switch carriers or stop leasing your truck under the MC at any point.
◼️Is it mandatory to run my truck every day under the leased MC?
No, it’s not mandatory to operate your truck every day under the leased MC. You can run your truck as often or as little as you like—whether that’s one day a month or several days a week. The goal is flexibility, so if you find consistent loads under your own MC, that's great. If not, you can continue leasing under the established MC to maintain steady work.
◼️What if i am not paid by the carrier?
This is one of the most common questions we get. If you don’t receive payment from the established MC company, we have limited options. We can guide you through the process of taking legal action, and assist with explaining the steps involved. However, it’s important to note that we have been working with these 15+ MC companies for over a year, and none of our drivers have faced any single payment issues. While we can’t directly intervene in payment disputes, we’ll ensure you have all the necessary documentation, including legal documents and rate confirmations, to support your case.
◼️Can I receive payment directly from the broker?
No, this isn’t possible. Brokers pay only the carrier company responsible for delivering the load. As you will be leasing your truck under an established MC, the MC company will receive payment from the broker, not you. Your payment will come from the MC owner as outlined in your lease agreement.
◼️Will I get a dedicated dispatcher?
Yes, you will be assigned a dedicated dispatcher who will handle all aspects of your load finding and logistics. We have a team of over 25 dedicated dispatchers, so you won’t have to worry about working with multiple people or dealing with inconsistent communication. If at any point you feel the need for a change, just let us know, and we will assign a new dispatcher to meet your needs.
◼️What types of documents do I need to get started?
To get started, we’ll need a few important documents from you:
Once we have all of these, we can get the process moving smoothly for you.
◼️An Example Of Payment Distribution in Action
Let’s say you’re hauling a load worth $1,000. You’ve made an agreement with an established MC company to work together, where they will receive a 15% commission for their services.
Step 1 - Payment to the MC Company
The broker will pay the established MC company $1,000 for the load. From this $1,000, the 15% fee is deducted, which comes out to $150. This is the amount the MC company keeps as their share.
Step 2 - Your Payment
You, as the truck owner, will receive the remaining $850. This is the portion of the $1,000 after the 15% commission is deducted.
Step 3 - What’s Included in the 15%
The $150 received by the MC company isn’t just for their profit. This amount covers all the necessary services that ensure a smooth process, including:
By covering these essential services, the 15% fee ensures efficiency, compliance, and access to quality loads.
So, from the $1,000 load, the distribution works like this:
You (the truck owner) receive $850.
The Established MC Company receives $150, which covers their dispatching services, lease fees, factoring fees, and any other administrative costs involved in getting you the load.
This system ensures that both you and the MC company are compensated fairly for your efforts, with the MC covering the backend services that allow you to focus on driving and hauling freight.
